Total Solar Eclipse 2008:Live from China
On August 1, 2008, the next total solar eclipse will occur when the new moon moves directly between the sun and the earth. An Exploratorium team will be waiting in the path of the eclipse as it passes over the remote Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwestern China.
